I’m Xinyu.
The Past
Before moving into design, I studied journalism. I spent a lot of time asking questions, listening, and turning complicated stories into something clear.
Turns out that’s a big part of product design too.
The Present
Over the past five years, I’ve designed enterprise tools, financial dashboards, and consumer experiences at Lucid Software, Global Payments, and Insurify.
At Lucid, my work has ranged from integrations with Jira and Azure DevOps to intelligent canvas interactions that help teams collaborate.
The Future
I want to keep working on problems where a small interaction sits within a much larger system. I enjoy connecting the pieces, questioning assumptions, and working with others to make complex experiences easier to use.
I’m also exploring how AI can support my design process, taking courses on AI for designers and sharpening my prototyping skills. I want to bring ideas to life earlier, test them with people, and learn through making.
